It’s a full moon tomorrow. First one since the full moon night you passed. How does time keep passing but you’re not here?

You were different. You were a dreamer. But most of all, you actually chased after your dreams without an ounce of doubt. And constantly encouraged me to do the same.

Unknowingly, we became a team. Two people who faced tough work situations during the day and then cracked jokes and laughed all night. In middle of all those years of chaos, I felt a sense of safety, knowing you were there, always having my back.

And now, all I have is memories. Of you smiling behind the office desk. Of you lighting up at the sight of food. Of you screaming at me to wash my hands before eating. Of you begging me to watch a scary movie with you. Of you telling me “tension na leh yaar.”

And now…
Now my heart must learn how to carry a quiet heaviness.
